Grade Miners sports itself as a Canadian company, dedicated primarily to Canadian students. Yet, it obviously has a wider range of clientele, as it accepts payments in U.S., Euro, and UK money as well. And, its headquarters are located in the country of Panama, something that is in very tiny print on a dark background at the very bottom of its landing page.
The Grade Miners website is well organized, albeit a bit redundant in places. There are links to the most important types of information – “about us,” pricing and discounts, guarantees. Footer pages relate to more detailed information about the types of writing offered, as well as links to a blog and policies. You can navigate around this site easily.
There are agents on standby 24 hours a day, via phone, email, or live chat. And of course, we contacted them – by phone and chat. We were looking to confirm their claims of being the top Canadian writing service. Amazingly, we were told that we could get a full 200-page PhD. dissertation, with original (hypothetical) research and primary resources, within 7 days, for $5771.00. The price seemed about right, but the 7 days? Impossible.
We ended up ordering a short college-level research paper in history, to check out what they could do ourselves.
If you are a high school student who orders an essay with 20 days’ notice, you will pay $13.60 a page. If you are in a Ph.D. program, and you have a 3-hour deadline, the cost will be $45.95/page. Our paper of 8 pages with a 7-day deadline was $135.60. You can figure the cost of what you order by filling out a form on the pricing link.
Quality – Ca.GradeMiners.com
The content on the website is pretty professional and written in good English. We were encouraged.
But as we checked out the footer pages that gave detail on specific types of writing and the blog articles, our verdict became more mixed. The footer pages especially read like ESL writing, not like a native English-speaking text.
We also read a few customer reviews on the web that were not as complimentary as we expected from a company that says it’s the best. And the paper we received wasn’t one that could have been submitted “as is.” There were some word usage and grammar errors, and missing transitions between paragraphs.
Customer Services – a Mixed Bag
We did ask two different agents about dissertation writing and didn’t get very good answers. It sounded as if they didn’t really know what a dissertation involved. When we pushed further, we were told to go ahead and place the order and then speak in detail with the writer they would assign. Not acceptable to us.
In short, there are no up-front discounts. There is, though, a bonus rewards program. Once you pay for an order, you will get 10% of that cost off of your next one. After that, the bonus is 5%.
If you’re looking for high-quality essay help or any other type of writing, you may want to consider other services. At best, the product quality here is mixed, and there should be more quality control over the writers this company uses.
